It is so easy to look at the lives of our friends, the lives of individuals we admire, and think that they have it all together. What we miss, in the midst of the “perfect social media life” culture, is what goes on behind the scenes. What happens when the life, the home, the family isn’t perfectly staged and smiling for the camera?

We’ll admit it, we’re guilty of it too! Every week we send out images through email and on social media of incredible homes but what is easily forgotten is how much time, energy, and frankly, messy work goes into crafting these spaces. Personally, we think that the behind-the-scenes, watching the details of the space come together, is pretty fascinating.
